WINCHESTER, Mass. — A Massachusetts couple visited the EMS crew that helped deliver their baby in the back of an ambulance in a hospital parking lot.

According to the Armstrong Ambulance Facebook page, Mike and Sandra Melvin were stuck in traffic on the way to the hospital to have their baby girl when Sandra realized they were not going to make it.

Mike called 911 and an ambulance crew quickly arrived to transport the couple to Beth Israel Hospital.  The ambulance crew soon realized they would not be able to make it to the hospital. The baby was delivered inside the ambulance.

Mike, Sandra, and their son William stopped by the Armstrong Ambulance service to introduce baby Catherine to the crew.

“We aren't sure who was more excited, brother William who got to play in the ambulances, or the crew members who got to reunite with baby Catherine,” Armstrong Ambulance posted on their Facebook page.
